(Please enjoy the included photos of my now almost 1.5 yr old merle border collie getting attention from staff, playing with a puppy, meeting one of the owners cats, as well as her first ever visit to the store when she was about 10 weeks old. Also enjoy the pics of some of the past adoptable rescue cats in the window!) Where do I begin? This place is awesome. From the awesome owner and her store kitty Boo, to the adoptable rescue cats in the window, to the loyalty program with many brands that save you so much money, it's just the best. Dogs always get a complimentary treat at the register when they come in. The treats available are so diverse and it's great to try something new with my pets every couple weeks. The staff is very helpful and kind, and it is overall just a priceless staple of the neighborhood. I highly recommend stopping by, even if you don't have a pet! Because they have rescue cats in the window that you can pet and bond with (thanks to Greenstreet Rescue) and lots of great stock to get a gift for a pet owner in your life. Definitely check them out, I love this place.

I am a independent dog walk & pet sitter for the past 11 years. When my part time babies come to stay with me, they know that they get to eat all of the most delicious, smelliest, kinda grossest stuff they aren’t usually allowed to have at home. I’ve shopped online, bulk stores, and you will NOT find a better selection of all natural chews and treats at a more affordable price then at Fairmount Pet Shoppe! Dog food, supplements, toys, jackets, all cat items as mentioned above. Even small animal! They have a freezer if you are feeding raw. Call ahead and they will special order! FPS I a small locally run business that is exactly what everybody is looking for! Phenomenal customer service, Greeted when you enter the door, recommendations should you need any. The owner is the sweetest woman in the world and you’ll see after meeting the staff, any the money you save, why you’ll keep going back. Don’t see what you want? Ask if they can order it! You won’t be disappointed!

My cat diesel wouldn’t play with scratching posts and preferred the rug, avoiding them at all costs but these guys hooked me up with this one and within 10 minutes of setting it up this was him. Great customer service and really great staff. 10/5 stars

Cute neighborhood pet shop with a surprisingly robust selection of stock for the space they have. They can also special order specific items for you even if they don't normally carry it in store.

Excellent store. My cat is very happy about his new harness. because he can hang out on the roof with us now I'll be back to pick up more toys and litter over the years. Great store. Cute and very well behaved cats in the store.

Loved this little shop, was visiting from the UK and obviously had to pop in and get some presents for my kitties at home. They had a great selection of really fun toys, I picked up a few with catnip and my cats cannot get enough of them. Really friendly staff, including the doggos which were just a huge added bonus. Highly recommend! ❤️
