Lemon Hill Park is beautiful. Whether you want to take a solo stroll or be accompanied by others, you’re sure to enjoy the visit! The park has a modest playground and basketball court, an abundance of picnic tables, beautiful winding slopes, a cloistered trail along its edge which overlooks the Schuylkill River, and hosts the Lemon Hill Mansion. The city views and friendly passerby help make the experience a wonderful one. :)

This park is a peaceful escape with beautiful open spaces and shady trees. It’s a favorite spot for a quiet walk or a lazy afternoon picnic.

Really lovely spot. Nice view of the city and sunsets. There is very limited parking so people tend to just leave their cars on the side of the road - gets pretty dangerous on the curves.

Lemon Hill Park is a scenic spot in Philadelphia. It’s part of the larger Fairmount Park. The park features the historic Lemon Hill Mansion, built around 1800. This mansion was the first property bought to create Fairmount Park. It overlooks the Schuylkill River, offering stunning views. The grounds were once a private estate, now open for public enjoyment. Visitors can explore the mansion and enjoy picnics in the park. Lemon Hill is a blend of history, nature, and recreation.

When I was in High School 2009, I used to ask everyone if they watched It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and they looked at me like I was crazy. Watched every week since the first episode dropped. For my ‘Senior Trip’ after graduation instead of going to the beach like most sane graduates, 2 of my best friends and I went from Akron straight to Philadelphia exploring the entire city, taking pictures in front of all the opening credits scenes, and even slept in my car under the Ben Franklin Bridge (until it got too noisy from locals fighting so we drove to Lemon Hill Park to sleep, where there was just more fighting). It was a true Philly experience!
