This pocket park in Passyunk has been lovingly tended by neighbors for years. It honors the contributions of Louis Paolone, who was a Democratic committee rep for their Ward and neighbor. He worked tirelessly for his community for years. The park is open for everyone to enjoy, with a bird feeder, several large shade trees and vibrant perennial gardens. When we visited with our dog, there were neighbors sunbathing, grandkids exploring and all having a great time. This park is only a few blocks away from the Gold Star Park, which has been renovated.

A lovely spot for families and anyone looking to relax outdoors. The park is always tidy and there’s plenty of space to enjoy a picnic or a quiet walk. It’s a peaceful little escape in the city.
