Baltimore Pet Shoppe is awesome! They have a surprising amount of pet supplies for a small space. Staff are super helpful and even helped get harnesses onto our wriggly puppy to figure out what size he needed. Love to support local businesses like this one and highly recommend for other pet owners. As a bonus, they have cute cats walking around the store!

Incredibly kind and helpful people! I needed a harness for my dog, and they found the perfect size/kind for him. They helped me fit it and everything!

I stopped by during the dollar stroll and they had a very nice selection of toys and treats for both cats and dogs. And the lady that was watching over the table was very nice and helpful. I would definitely come back again in the future for more toys and treats for my cat!

Great local pet store! Super helpful and friendly staff, very competitive prices (really comparable with online/big box retailers), so glad it's in the neighborhood!

Great selection and helpful staff. I used to assistant manage a pet valu so I have some knowledge in this realm and thai place has really fantastic, high quality options in terms of food, treats and toys for dogs and cats. They have a wide variety of quality products at multiple price points. I definitely will return and buy more My one gripe: although I would. Rate the staff as overall friendly and helpful they were not initially very polite or welcoming. When i first walked in with my dog I noticed they cat roaming free around the store I wasn't sure how my dog would react to the cat so I kind of asked what I should do or if they could contain the cat. I expected this request to be seen as sensible and reasonable ( believe me.I have nothing against cats.I love cats , but I just didn't know how my dog would react to the cat. Obviously i just wanted to avoid any issue) But instead of understanding this, They can kind looked me like I was a weirdo or high maintenance or something, or as though I was the first ever dog owning customer to be tentative around the cat while my dog was with me. Basically, I was just unsure what to do.My dog was with me.He's never been around a cat, so I wasn't sure how he would react.I didn't want my dog to chase the cat.So I asked if they could put the cat away essentially , and they made it seem like-- or at least in the moment they made it seem like i was inconveniencing them or making a ridiculous request.

they have two shop cats that live there - so cute and friendly! they have everything I need for my pet - shop local!
