I couldn’t recommend The Monster Minders more! Alex has been walking my dog Birdie for about 3 years now. Alex gave the best updates on Birdie any day she walked her. Birdie was always happy and taken care of! The Monster Minders is so communicative and accommodating. They really make you feel at ease leaving your pup at home and have been so flexible with us in the past with schedule changes! 💗 Reach out to them if you need a great dog walker in Philly!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! I had a great experience with Monster Minders. They are a reliable and professional company. I loved Emily's updates during the day with my dog, Penny. The app makes it easy to add or cancel walks. Highly recommend to anyone looking for trustworthy dog walkers in Philly!

I used Monster Minders while working in Philly for several months and they were absolutely wonderful. I have a sensitive/reactive dog and it's hard for me to let other people handle him, but knowing that he is getting one on one personalized care from someone who really loves and wants the best for your dog made all the difference. The app makes communication very easy and I appreciated the amount of detail left in the notes after each walk. Highly recommended for anyone in the Philly area, especially if you have a dog that needs a little extra attention and encouragement!

I used this company for about three weeks. There were a few problems and they were extremely unprofessional when problems arose. First, my dog has stomach problems and I asked that he avoid food on the street and grass. Shortly after starting, I found grass in throw up that I found when I returned home. I politely asked for them not to walk walk my dog in the grass because my dog will eat the grass which makes him sick. The owner sent a note saying the walker never walks him in grass. Well, that was clearly untrue because the walker had sent me several pictures of the dog walking in the grass. Second, I was home one day because construction work was being done at home, and I had my dog on a leash with a standard collar tied to a sofa. When the walker came, I released him to go down the stairs to be walked. His walking leash has a prong collar because he is a puller. After the walker returned my dog, I realized (when I tried to tie him to the sofa again) that he did not have on the standard collar, and only the prong collar was in the closet. Problems can occur and I accept that. My issue is that the owner constantly denies everything instead of accepting responsibility. Additionally, the owner states everything as fact even though she had no personal knowledge of the situation. What happens if a big problem occurs if they cannot acknowledge a small problem?

What an awesome company. I had a great experience with the Monster Minders, and Pam in particular, who walked and loved my two dogs for the year. The company is very professional- easy to work with, great communication, and love dogs. My dogs loved Pam and she did a great job tailoring their walks to the needs. I’ve always used individual walkers in the past, but the ease of this company was amazing. For example, if Pam was out of town, they’d move another Minder in to walk the dogs, and it was no stress for me. Definitely recommend them for anyone looking!

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Monster Minders and with our walker, Emily, in particular. The MM founders are professional, thoughtful, and communicative; it’s clear that they’re dog-lovers and understand what dogs need. And Emily is the absolute best. Our dog adores her, and she really takes care to make his walks fun and interesting (and tiring!) for him. She also writes us very charming and thorough reviews of their walks together and always takes the cutest photos of our dog. Thanks, Monster Minders!
