We had a football scrimmage at Stanton Park around 6:30 PM. My grandson really enjoyed the playground area, which is great for kids. Unfortunately, once the sun went down, the park became extremely dark. There are no lights for players or children, which makes it difficult to see and feel safe at night on the field or around the playground.

Great playground, new equipment. Pretty dirty though, there is trash everywhere. There is a workout area next to the playground. And it's close to the library so you can make a day out of this outing

Beautiful playground with sprinklers, trees for shade and maybe three ball fields, basketball court. Stanton park has space for large gatherings. The NICETOWN REUNION is always a highlight of my summer!

I brought my Grandson here for their annual Easter egghunt. Ooh what a awesome time we had exploring the Garden, hunting for eggs & fellowshipping with the other families. My Grandson had a wonderful time participating in all the festivities. They offered face painting & many activities of crafts for the kids. There were plenty of volunteers to assist the kids with colored markers, crayons, gluing and/or stamping & of course egg dyeing..I left a very small Donation, I certainly hope to return to tour the wonderfully kept Historical house.

It's a nice area, but we were here for a football game and the grass was so uneven that players were falling into ditches.

They've made SO many new and bright additions to the park! There's a huge chalk board that's a writing wall to decrease the use of graffiti, and encourage the kids to express themselves through art. In addition to work out equipment that is being put to use by our local athletes, and dog walkers, alike. Not to mention an all new play area and Rec center that provides child care during the city's difficult time. The gardens and flower beds are a beautiful new addition as well. I love it all!😁👍
