I got my handsome cat from PAWs old city last year. I recently went to PAWs Grays Ferry for his annual wellness and they did a great job with his care. The staff was so friendly and professional. The price was very cheap compared to what other vets and animal hospitals charge. It is very hard to get an appointment so recommend planning ahead of time! Overall highly recommend adopting your future cat or dog from this adoption shelter as well as low cost vaccines or medical needs for your animal needs!

I love Paws. I have been taking my pitties there for over 17 years. They do not lie or manipulate you to extract more money from you. They are open and honest about caring for their furry clients and supportive of their human loved ones.

I have done several TNR appointments at this location for local stray cats, and the staff here has always been pleasant, knowledgeable, and superbly competent. They also do low-cost preventative care for new house cats. Incredibly thankful and appreciative for the team at PAWS doing an essential service for Philadelphia.

PAWS came in clutch when my pup needed neutered and it was effecting his day to day attitude. Even with his situational aggression they got it done, helped me get him out of recovery & home safe. Highly recommended!

I got my cat neutered here and he died a week later after four days of vomiting. He was only a year old and had the absolute best help. Worst of all, PAWS did nothing to help and instead proceeded to tell me how it was my fault he died and that he must've had an underlying health issue (even though the cat was only a year old, super active and healthy, and had frequent checkups at the vet). Whatever you do, do not bring your pets here for any surgeries!!

I like coming here bringing my 2 dogs English bulldog and pit bull and giving donations as well. Most of the staff is friendly, today there was an older heavy set lady. She was just I guess having a bad day she did mention something about her knees. And had asked another nice lady to do that for her. I asked to help as well. (Restrain) My big dog tends to be a goofball when it comes time for shots. She was just overall over it. You can tell by her face. And when we said thank you she didn’t even say anything back. But everyone else did so I doubt she’s deaf. Stay home if you’re not feeling well or if you can’t do the job. It sucks because it brings a negative vibe on. And I do understand it is a low cost clinic. Just fyi. For those who are careful with who they let there fur babies around ❤️
