We've tried to visit this park multiple times and are always stopped by an elderly man and his large, poorly socialized dog - a husky. Because this dog doesn't bite, the gentleman thinks it's fine that the dog aggressively blocks other dogs from their owners, the exit, and from exploring the space. His dog doesn't pick up on any cues from other animals that they need space or don't want to play and will dominate and become very physical. He told me that many other owners have complained to him but they just don't know what they're talking about because his dog "is just playing" He is very open about the fact he is retired and utilizes this space all day, everyday because of his dogs needs meaning we can never take our pup there. And he is there ALL THE TIME. For hours! We've genuinely tried to wait him out. It's a shame, because the park is a nice size and we'd love to use it to burn off our dogs zoomies - but at this point she refuses to head in if this gentleman and his dog are there - and they're there all the time.

A clean, mid-size local dog park frequented by knowledgeable owners and very sweet pups. Bags are provided, but BYO water. Consider becoming a Lanier Dog Park member by scanning the QR code near the complementary bags!

So, maybe I am biased because my husband and I are overseers of this dog park...but, we take pride in keeping the dog park clean, stocked with poop bags and a welcoming place! We go at least 4 times a day with our pack!! Come check us out!

Great dog park! We love taking our pups here. The dog parents are welcoming and friendly too!

Other friendly dog owners, the inner gate for the small dog area is broken but they're double gated so your dog is safe. May have to pick up some trash before your dog plays because sometimes the wind blows it into the dog play area.

Clean and spacious and has two areas for different size dogs. The other dogs and people are super friendly. Plenty of parking spaces on the street.
