We recently moved from Florida and needed to find a new groomer for our poodle. We were out exploring our neighborhood here in Northern Liberties and found Doggy Style Pets. I looked on website and made a reservation for grooming. The rep contacted me about vet records and helped get the info needed from our old vet in FL. Took our baby in today and his haircut was long overdue but he came out looking amazing! I also have to say all the groomers we used in FL charged a premium for poodles but DSP doesn't have anything like that and the total cost was about 1/2 the price of what we used to pay in FL.. Great service and a great haircut. We will be back!

I really wanted to like this place because everyone was so sweet but I booked a full groom which on the app says “Full Groom Includes: Full haircut, bath 'n brush service, sanitary paw/pad trim, nail trim and ear cleaning.” I don’t think they even gave her a bath and they definitely didn’t do her nails. I normally do her grooming myself and I’m not a professional, but they just did a really sloppy job. I had to cut off several random long pieces on her back. The one of her on the couch is her before and the others are after.This is what she looks like after I asked for a teddy bear hair cut. I just feel like they didn’t do much. Like they didn’t even trim around her sanitary areas.

LeNiesha is great worker and willing to help me no matter if it was for my dog or cats. This was most top tier customer service i ever receive. I will definitely will be comeing back and getting my dog groomed going foward. Thanks again LeNiesha!!

I’ll start with the good thing: staff are very nice and attentive. Ok now for the not so great: We got our two poodles groomed here. I had heard great things about the grooming here by Donathon. I saw the other reviews and had high hopes that we too would get some great grooming. Unfortunately that just wasn’t the case. Our poodles unfortunately look terrible. We didn’t ask for anything special; just a clean and tidy trim and leave the tail a bit longer. Unfortunately there are numerous spots that were missed and overall looks very sloppy. One of our dogs had his front paws from the elbow down completely missed. I’m not sure that the ears were even cut or trimmed. I did initially ask that they fix the ears and faces but they came out looking worse than before so I decided to cut my losses. I’m going to stop into another location soon and see if they can fix them because I’m honestly in shock at how bad it looks. If there is a manager that oversees this account that wants me to stop in to show them the haircut results I’m happy to do so- and I’m sure you’ll agree with me. I know this isn’t the norm or the standard there; as I’ve heard great things. But either the groomer was having an off day or maybe poodles just aren’t his specialty. I’m happy to update my review if this is made right. I know they were cut with good intentions and from what I’ve seen- you guys usually do a good job. I’m sure this was a “one off”. EDIT: Management did make this right. A few days after the initial groom, they had me visit their Fairmount location for 2 free regrooms with the two groomers at their fairmount location. These second grooms are AMAZING. While I can’t really recommend the northern liberties location for grooming; I HIGHLY recommend the fairmount location for grooming- specifically Ashli and Alexis. Thank you to management for making this right. I will add a star.

This place is horrible, it’s cute and all but I brought in my dog to get groomed and I didn’t get anything of what I asked for, I wanted a teddy bear cut with bangs and all they did was shave most of her fur off. I’ll include an image of what I wanted versus what they gave me. They even shaved the bangs off when we asked them not to!
