I have been taking my dog Coco here for grooming and medical care for years. Always a satisfied customer. The staff are very responsive via phone and text, great listeners and kind. Also price is reasonable for the quality of care. My dog always look great after her grooming sessions!

We brought our kitten Niko to Heart & Paw after he ingested a key ring and was diagnosed with anemia and toxic metal poisoning. While the staff did provide some supportive care (fluids, likely activated charcoal, and possibly an enema), we ultimately feel that a major failure in communication and documentation played a role in his tragic passing.
Due to financial constraints, we couldn’t afford the $10,000+ blood transfusion that was offered as the primary treatment option. We weren’t given much reassurance about his chances with either option, but went with supportive care, hoping it would stabilize him.
The biggest issue came at discharge. The veterinarian who treated Niko didn’t speak with us directly again. Instead, a tech we’d never met handed him back with brief home instructions and told us we’d receive a full medical summary by email. That summary never came—despite us following up multiple times.
Because we didn’t have documentation of what treatments or tests had been done, we delayed taking him to the emergency vet, waiting for the promised records to avoid paying twice for the same procedures. On Saturday, when we finally rushed him to the ER, Niko seized and died in my daughter’s arms on the way there.
We’re devastated. We feel that had we been given his medical records promptly at discharge—something that should be routine—we could have made more informed decisions and gotten him emergency care sooner. Instead, we left with a non-itemized bill and no follow-up from the vet.
This isn’t about blame. It’s about accountability and the need for better discharge procedures. Pet parents deserve proper communication, especially when they’re trying to balance urgent medical care with financial realities. Niko deserved better. So did we.

Took my dog in for a grooming appointment and Li was amazing! So efficient and really paid attention to detail. My dog loved them and came out looking super cute, happy, and smelling amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

Heart + Paw grooming is amazing. My doggo is in and out within 1 hour which I love. Joshua (my dog's groomer) does an amazing job with cutting Toby's hair. The cost is alittle pricey but honestly worth it for being quick, efficient, and high quality.

Joshua did a fantastic job with our dog! Our dog has some anxiety when it comes to being groomed and stylists usually have a hard time working with him. Joshua made our dog look brand new. We highly recommend this place and will be back soon.
