I could not have anything better to say about the team at Heart + Paw! We take Lucy to H+P for her vet appointments and grooming and just recently started taking her for doggy day care. The staff is amazing. To see her get so excited when we get to the office door at 8am on Monday mornings makes me so happy. To give testament to how caring the staff is they send updates throughout the day with pictures and this afternoon I peeped in the window and she was the last puppy to leave for the day. She was sitting right on the individuals lap who was watching her and it put a huge smile on my face. We are new to day care and I have full trust in H + P that they keep her happy, energized and safe throughout the day!

Very attentive and informative, the vet techs and veterinarians all were gentle and friendly with my cat(s) each time I’ve been to their appointments in east market and northern liberties 🙂 they give my cats the attention and care they need and proper treatment and I am involved along the way completely so I have a better understanding of what is needed. Thanks so much!

Can’t say enough good things about Heart and Paw! They always take good care of our Cali girl-we love the updates and pictures they share on days she’s with them. Whenever we drop her off she’s SO excited to go in, we know she loves it too! We always know she’s going to be taken care of well and have a great day!

Very positive experience with the grooming services at Heart + Paw! They took great care of my boy and made him look like the little show dog he could be! Parking wasn’t terrible and I went and got my nails done right down the street while my pup was being groomed. All in all a great experience.

A Disappointing Experience with Room for Improvement I initially chose Heart and Paw for my dog, Pepper, after thoroughly researching their reputation and services. My early visits started off positively, with kind and professional interactions from the front desk staff and other team members, which gave me confidence in their care. However, my experience took a disappointing turn. During one visit, a staff member displayed unprofessional behavior, avoiding eye contact and providing vague answers. Concerned, I raised the issue with the receptionist, expecting it to be addressed. Unfortunately, when I followed up, I received a response that felt dismissive and one-sided, as though my concerns were not taken seriously. A particularly upsetting moment occurred during a phone call when I inquired why there was no follow-up to check on Pepper’s condition after spending over $1,000 on an ultrasound, examination, and lifelong special food. I suggested even a basic questionnaire for clients, but the response I received was, "We have over 1,000 clients, we can't call everyone," or words to that effect. This response felt unprofessional and dismissive, especially considering the significant investment I made in Pepper's care. Pepper is not just a pet; he is a beloved companion to my 100-year-old father, and their bond is incredibly meaningful to our family. I trusted Heart and Paw based on my research and was willing to make financial sacrifices to ensure Pepper’s well-being. While Pepper's care has improved, the lack of follow-up and dismissive communication left me feeling undervalued as a client. I hope Heart and Paw considers implementing a more thoughtful approach to client follow-up and customer service. Even a small gesture, like a post-visit questionnaire, would go a long way in showing clients that their concerns are valued. While some aspects of their care are commendable, my experience highlights the need for consistency and improvement.

I took my cat to see Dr. Wargo after he'd been limping and another vet didn't know what was wrong. Dr. Wargo took a look at my cat's paw and knew what the issue was immediately. I love that the office is clear with you at every step what the care will be and how much it costs. Sure, it wasn't cheap, but it was excellent care and absolutely worth every penny. Y'all don't know how thrilled I am to have an answer and a treatment for my Faramir. He's the sweetest. The staff was so gentle with him when they were treating him, and although he's a little scaredy kitty he didn't freak out and hide in a sink like he usually does, lol. I see why they're so busy! They're the best
