Very basic and minimalistic in terms of stimulating activity play objects for toddlers, offering a paltry few slides and swings. Basketball court for older children and teenagers to expend their energy and lark about on. Paths and large grassy area much utilized and enjoyed by dog owners and their grateful pets. Connell Park however is a much appreciated focal point for various neighbourhood events and functions and therefore remains invaluable to folks in the surrounding area.

Great park for walking your dog and meeting other dog parents. Park offers a small area for children to play swings and slides but park is often riddled with rubbish. Every year there is a volunteer clean up in the summer but it would be a lot better if the community pitched in after the cleanups to keep it looking pristine.

Cute little playground/park area in SW philly. Has a basketball court area, swings and playground area. A lot of grass and trees to relax on/under. There are bleachers and benches to sit on. Could use some maintenance such as grass cut/trimming. Nice people who come from the neighborhood.

Horrible. Trash everywhere in the park, around the park. The grass needs to be cut in and around the park. You can't jog straight because your ditching the weeds coming out the cement. Please get that taken care of. I would have taken a picture, but I am home now.

It is so sad to see this park treated by the city like trash. I am sure there is a lot of budget assigned to it in the fiscal year and I wonder who kept the money.
