My 9 month old standard poodle ( Phoebe) has been groomed 5 times in the 7 months that I had her , each time I tried a different place because I was never fully satisfied with the first 4. Places. I wasn’t using pet stores I was going to high priced salons. I would not be comfortable saying names because I only review positive feed back.(don’t want to give places bad feedback since it’s only my opinion ). Driving home on Cottman ave in northeast Philadelphia I passed Pooch La Vie. Went on there website put in my information and they got back to me the next day. 3 days later took her in for her spa day. They showed me a chart so I could choice the length I wanted. The young lady at the front was so nice and helpful. When I picked her up she looked beautiful , they even plucked inside her ears ( which no other salon did , ) because she was nippy or wouldn’t be still. When they told me the cost I was shocked, it was between 50-65$ less than I paid to other places. My husband said I should have had her nose area shaved so I went back the next day and without hesitation they took her right back and 10 minutes later brought her out to me. This is a long and detailed review because I can’t stress how pleased I was with the whole experience. I want to thank you Pooch La Vie for Taking care of my fur baby.

I recently brought my dog and I am beyond impressed with the service we received. The groomer was friendly, professional, and clearly experienced in handling pets. My dog looked fantastic after his grooming session and he seemed happy and relaxed when I picked him up. The salon was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the grooming process. Thank you for taking such great care of my furry baby !

Today we took our pup to Pooch La Vie for a pamper day. Our mini labradoodle looks like a new pup after the TLC he recieved with his spaw day pamper. He had a full haircut, ears plucked, nails trimmmed and he was styled to perfection. I love this place because from the moment you hand your pet over, you know they’re in good hands. The groomer was knowledgeable and patient with all my questions regarding coat maintenance. I got some great tips, advice and even some Amazon links for products to use on his double coat. My main concern is to prevent matting. This is an issue I’ve come across with my pup, and I know with the help of Pooch La Vie it won’t happen again. Pooch La Vie set us up with a bath and grooming schedule so that together, we could keep a good eye on his coat. It makes the maintence so much easier. Kobe looks great! He always comes back with a small accessory to finish his polished look. Be it a scarf, festive pup handkerchief, or even a bow tie. It always adds the best finishing touch! This is our forever groomer. I highly recommend!
