This place was amazing! So much history. The view down the cell blocks is breath taking,at least to me. The cell themselves were different,strange,intriguing. I was just amazed at everything,how high those outside walls are. I cant wait to go back for a real investigation. We took the audio tour and I 100 percent recommend it.

Nice public playground located on 2198 Brown Street, along Eastern State Penitentiary in Fairmount. Small to medium size but the jungle gym is good for children 5-12.

I still can't believe that, because of a couple of illegal parked cars, that I had to drive my semi onto the sidewalk to deliver the playground equipment.
