The staff at BarKadelphia was fantastic!!! I needed a place to day board my dog while we visited the sites in Philadelphia on a Saturday. They were able to accommodate my high energy Airedale Terrier. He was a tired boy when we got back to the hotel!

We have been coming to Barkadelphia for 10 years with our Bernese Mountain dogs, first with Harry and now with Benny. Its a great facility with wonderful staff. They have lots of a la carte options like enrichment, extra walks and even birthday celebrations for our fur babies. They are just the best!!!!

Maple loves barkadelphia! She waits at the door to go and she is exhausted when she gets home. The staff truly love dogs and make the day fun.

Barkadelphia kicked our dog out, stating that she was “over stimulated.” She had just turned one and still has puppy energy. She is incredibly friendly and has never met a dog or person she doesn’t love. When we asked about what they meant by over-stimulated they shared that there are often over 60+ dogs. They take your money and cram as many dogs in as possible and then kick them out and insist they have to be picked up immediately without ever letting you see the space your dog is in. Front desk staff are mostly friendly, but never gave any indication of an issue whatsoever. They essentially kicked out a puppy for acting like a puppy when surrounded by more than 60 other dogs. I would not recommend Barkadelphia.

I'm so late reviewing Barka, but I have to give them 5 stars. When my Benny started going here 5 years ago we knew he was in good hands. Danielle, Jackie and Jaime were like family to him. He loved them so, so, much and I know they adored him too. I miss dropping him off every Friday, and writing this makes me miss my boy so much. If you have a little dog that you want to meet other little dogs, you can trust Jackie and the Barka crew. They know how to take care of the little ones just as good as the big ones. Thank you Jackie!
